Meet Bonnie
LISW · LCSW · Certified Divorce Coach
Bonnie’s passion for helping others and commitment to her clients have remained steadfast throughout her more than 35 years as a licensed clinical social worker. As a therapist and Certified Divorce Coach, she brings insight, practical guidance, generosity, and integrity to her work, both individually and as part of a collaborative team.
What distinguishes Bonnie is the depth of her clinical experience combined with a thoughtful, direct, and personal approach. She looks beyond immediate concerns to understand how past experiences, relationships, and family dynamics shape present struggles and helps clients turn that understanding into meaningful change.
Her expertise in anxiety, depression, trauma, sex addiction, and domestic violence informs her work with people facing complex emotional challenges, separation, divorce, and major life transitions. She creates space for honest conversation while offering practical strategies to clarify choices, address persistent patterns, and take the next steps.
Bonnie also brings her extensive trauma experience to forensic mental health evaluations, assessing and documenting psychological injuries and their impact on daily life, and providing treatment when clinically indicated.
Featured on Spectrum News
Bonnie was featured on Spectrum News discussing the role of Certified Divorce Coaches and how coaching can help women navigate divorce.
“It just seems as if it's dragging and dragging, and it's costing me a lot of money,” said Thomas.
It’s also something Bonnie Miller Ladds, a certified divorce coach, knows a lot about.
“People don't go into a marriage thinking that they're going to get divorced. But you know what, no one gets into their car thinking they're going to get in an accident. It does happen,” said Miller Ladds. “It's excruciating. It's traumatic and excruciating, and no one wants a divorce.”
